"1919 Hugh Pillion, a former well known hotel keeper of Sullivan County, died of cancer in New York on November 16 at the age of 60. For a number of years he conducted a hotel at Long Eddy, and late ran the Link Hotel at North Branch, which he bought from George Fillweber. Later Mr Pillion moved to Roscoe,where he owned and operated a large farm and boarding house. Then he leased the Faubel House in Roscoe for several years, after which he retired
