Harriet was the first person buried in the Lewisville Cemetery. Following are notes from Lewisville LDS Ward Records:

Built a Tithing Cellar
Sister George Hill died. Bishop R.F. Jardine and Counselor William A. Walker selected a piece of land for a graveyard. Brigham H. Ellsworth dedicated the graveyard.

After her death, her husband, George William Hill married her niece with the same name, Harriet Cordelia Harmon.
