Mr. Youker had been employed as a caretaker for the Ralph C. Sheldon family for 25 years prior to his retirrement.
He was born in Ellery Center, in the old store apartment, Oct. 2, 1880, and had lived most of his life in Jamestown.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hannah Lind Youker; one son, Lind Youker, Jamestown; two grandchildren, Roger Youker, Jamestown and Robert Youker, Ashville; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Peter Vinsryg, Jamestown, Mrs. Percy Woodard, Cassadag, and Mrs. Effie Johnson, Stockton; two brothers, Hurley Shaver, Ellery Center, and Harry Shaver, Falconer.
Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
