Charles Edward Acker, 7, died in a head-on collision in Delaware Co. IN. He along with his parents, Charles R. Jr. and Helen Lucille Hiatt Acker, and a sister, Constance Ann, died in the accident. His sister, Helen Carol Acker, 6, was in critical condition suffering from multiple fractures and shock in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.
