Services for Fred Godlove Were Nov. 29

The passing of Fred K. Godlove at his home here the morning of November 27 took from the community a man who made many friends during his 10 years in our midst. Chief among those friends were the children who became acquainted with Mr. Godlove when he owned and operated Custard's Last Stand on the California Highway and later Dairyland on the Prescott Highway.

He and Mrs. Godlove came to Arizona in 1937, locating in Phoenix. They moved to Wickenburg in April of 1956. Prior to moving to Arizona he resided in Albuquerque where, for 13 years, he was head bookkeeper for the Fred Harvey Chain. He was born June 23, 1898 in St. Louis, Mo. He had been in ill health for many years.

Funeral services were held November 29 in the Wickenburg Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Scott Siegle and burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
