He was born Nov.29,1911 in Kingman county, the son of August E. and Minnie(Beat)Conrardy. He married Loretto M. Downey on July 31,1934 at Wright,Ks. He moved to Kingman county at the age of 5 years old and back to Wright,Ks and worked as an auto mechanic at Manis-Fraser, George-Nielsen and McCoy-Skaggs retiring in 1973.
He was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, both of Wright,KS.
Survivors include his wife,Loretto ;five sons, Francis of Santa Rosa,Calif, Larry of Wichita,KS, Paul of Cimarron,KS, Martin of Kansas City,Mo and Mark of Dodge City,KS; four daughters, Patricia Ashline of Belleview,Nebraska, Judy Sexson of Omaha,Neb, Sister Marietta Conrardy,CSJ of Wichita,KS, and Edith Hatton of Dodge City,Ks; two brothers, Louis and Eugene both of Wright,KS and three sisters, Lucile Lutz of Dodge City,KS, Mary Jane Pendergast of topeka,Ks and Joan Hornung of Stratton,Colo.
Vigil and services were held at St.Andrews Catholic Church with the Rev. A.F. Preisner officiating. Burial at the church.
