Fairy Arnold, 92, of Crossett died Tuesday, November 6, 2001, at the Oak Dale Nursing Facility. Born on Sept. 28, 1909, in Trafalgar, to Jim and Carrie Copeland Bawcom, Mrs. Arnold was a nurse's aide and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.B. Arnold. Survivors include one son, A.J. Arnold of Little Rock; three brothers, Elbert Bawcom of McGehee, Parker Bawcom of Bastrop, LA, and Burney Bawcom of Searcy; two sisters, Juanita Gammel of Crossett and Cumi King of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Mary Kay Ladner, Will Arnold, Randall Arnold; and four great-grandchildren.
