Her father, Hermann Colle, stated that he was born in Jackson Co., MS ( of German born parents) on the 1880 US Census Jackson Co., MS., at Scranton (modern day Pascagoula), age 41, listed as the owner of a Steam Tugboat, her mother, Wilihelmena Tarkel Colle, age 25, was keeping house and listed her mother, Elizabeth Tarkel, age 52, in the household. Their children were, John, age 7, Emma, age 5, Wilhelmena, age 3, and Hermann, age 6 months.
Mrs Henry Frentz, age 91, a native of New Orleans, and a resident of Biloxi for many years, died Sunday at 6 pm at the Gulf Coast Plaza Nursing Home, in Pascagoula, MS.
She has resided at 504 Seal Avenue, Biloxi. She was the wife of the late Henry Frentz. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Surviving her are her children; son, Clarence frenta, of Biloxi; daughters, Mrs. Ivon May, of Biloxi, and Mrs J D Monette, of Jackson, MS.; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Edward Colle, of Pascagoula; and sisters, Louise Richard and Mrs A B Brondum, both of Pascagoula.
Funeral servies will be held from the Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home at 4 pm Tuesday with services conducted by the rev earl Knobloch, of Gulfport. Interment will be in the BIloxi Cemetery.
