He was the son of the late Zopher Paisco and Mary Frances Brant.
He had been employed the Western Maryland Railroad for 42 years and was a member of the Brotherhood of Trainmen.
Surviving are: sons, William T Brant, Pinesburg; Donald L Brant, Hagerstown; and Gerald E Brant, Baltimore; daughters, Mrs. Charles Jones, Mrs. Russell Cullison, Mrs. Ivan Y Hull, and Mrs. Wallace Snyder, all of Hagerstown; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fred Brant, Mercersburg; and Harvey Brant, Williamsport; sisters, Mrs. John Divelbliss and Mrs. Calvin McFaddin, both of Fort Loudon; Mrs. Preston Everett, Marshalltown, Iowa; and Mrs. Ruth Forsythe, Washington, DC.
Services Sunday at 2 pm at Leaf Funeral Home, Halfway, the Rev C Gordon Clews officiating. Interment in Rest Haven Cemetery.
