NESS CITY - Benjamin David Rufenacht, 87,
died March 15,1994, at the Grisell Memorial
Long Term Care Center, Ransom.

He was born Feb. 18, 1907, in Ness County,
the son of Benjamin and Josephine Roy Rufenacht.

A lifetime resident of Ness County, he
was a farmer and rancher.

He was a member of the United Methodist
Church, the Walnut Valley Masonic Lodge,
Starlight Chapter Order of the Eastern Star,
all of Ness City, and the Scottish Rite
Consistory, Wichita.

On July 22, 1936, he married Pauline Schuler
at Ness City. She survives. Other survivors
include: two sons, George N., West Orange,
N.J., and Ben D., Ness City; three daughters,
Janice Mann, Manhattan, Judy Humburg, Ness
City, and Joyce Parks, Keene, Calif.; two
brothers, Ray, Ness City, and John, Wichita;
a sister, Pauline Schoning, Manhattan; 11
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the
United Methodist Church, Ness City, with
the Rev. Garner Berg presiding. Burial will
be in the Ness City Cemetery, Ness City.
Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer's
Association, the Walnut Valley Masonie Lodge,
or to the church, all in care of Fitzgerald
Funeral Home, Ness City.
