Who Suffered a Stroke of Paralysis Tuesday Died Early Wednesday Morning Aged 88.
Mrs. Margaret McGough, widow of Henry McGough, died at the home of her son Thomas, corner Railroad and First street, at about one o'clock on Wednesday morning, aged 88 years.
During Tuesday morning Mrs. McGough suffered a stroke of paralysis and owing to her extreme age she failed to rally. There are seven children who survive. They are W. H. and C. A. McGough of Van Wert county, Mrs. Anne Riley of Conroy, Mrs. Mary F. Burris of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Rachel Green of Gahenna, John R. of Ludlow, Ky., and Thomas McGough of this city.
The funeral will take place at 9 o'clock Friday morning from St. Francis de Sales church.

Mrs. William Laufersweller and Mrs. J. F. Burkley have returned from Newark, Ohio, from the funeral of their grandmother, Mrs. Margaret McGough, who died at the residence of her son, Thomas McGough, in Newark, of paralysis and old age in her 89th year. She is the mother of 15 children, of whom seven survive, Mrs. Rachel Green of Gahenna; Henry McGough of Rockford; Thomas McGough of Newark; Mrs. D. M. Riley of Convoy, O.; C. A. McGough of Rockford; Mrs. Mary Burris, of Mt. Vernon; John McGough, of Ludlow, Ky. She has 62 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. She was a devout Catholic and was buried from St. Francis church in Newark. She was laid to rest in Mt. Calvary cemetery. --Columbus Press Post.
