Marvin Glenn Brown, age 82, was born March 2, 1931 in Pattonsburg the son of Ralph and Pearl (Sweiger) Brown and died September 21, 2013 in St. Joseph.

Marvin served in the United States Army during Korea from 1952-1954 in the 3rd Armor Division. Marvin was a farmer and loved farm life, but also enjoyed going south to Texas the past 11 winters. He was a member of Fairport Baptist Church and was an avid toy tractor collector. Marvin will be missed dearly by his family and his friends from abroad.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and first wife, Shirley Ann (Graham) Brown. Survivors include his wife Margaret, of the home; two sons, David (Annette) Brown and Richard (Julie) Brown both of Pattonsburg; step children, Mary Oliver (Jim Murphy), Stewartsville, Karen Timm, Williamsburg, IA, Kenny (Diane) Cadden, Brooklyn, IA, George (Judy) Cadden, Brooklyn, IA; sister, Caroline Rogers, Raymore, MO; four grandchildren, Stephen (Ashley) Brown, Craig (Heather) Brown, Christopher (Nadika) Brown, and Emily Ann Brown; eleven step grandchildren; and 1 step great-grandchild; two nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2013 at Bram-Turner Funeral Home, Maysville with burial in Bethel Cemetery, Weatherby.
