Mrs Almeda Corum, 78, died yesterday at 5:10 a.m. at the home of her step-son W K Corum At Blaine's Crossroads. She had been ill for several months. Mrs Corum had lived in that section all her life. She is survived by her two sisters: Mrs Sarah Ann Sallings of Corryton and Mrs Laura Hutchinson of Colconda, Illinois, Step-son: G B Corum and a step-daughter: Mrs Matt Owenby of Corryton and a step-grandson: W K Corum.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 10 a.m. at Block Springs Baptist church. The Rev L C Chiles, the Rev S X Hinton and the Rev L G Cutshaw will officiate. Burial will be in Zachary cemetery near Corryton.
