KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. – Lonzie Doris Begley, age 80, of Knightstown, formerly of Centerville, went to be with our Lord Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. Born December 22, 1932, in Omersville, Kentucky, to Thomas and Susan Begley Rice, she moved to Knightstown in the mid 1990's. Lonzie worked at Veach's for several years. She was a member of Meadowbrook Church of Christ. Lonzie was a beloved mother, Nana, and great-Nana. She loved country and bluegrass music, going to family reunions, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her two sons, Thomas (Connie) Begley of Adrian, Michigan, and Ivan (Cheryl) Begley of Liberty; one daughter, Sharon (Don) Harsh of Knightstown; seven grandchildren, Lori Begley, Rob (Bobbie) Harsh, Doris (Brian) Tinkle, Amber (Dave) Jones, Patricia Begley Smith, Jerry Geeting, and Tina Oliver. Also surviving are 10 great-grandchildren, Emily, Dillon and Scott Begley, Bayley and Mason Tinkle, Garrett and Tyler Harsh, Addison and Grace Jones, and Stephanie Geeting; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Robert Begley; parents; brothers; and sisters. Visitation for Lonzie Doris Begley will be from 5 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Mills Funeral Home with Don and Robert Harsh officiating. Burial will be in Abington Cemetery.
