DeForest Abbott of Beuhlah Rd. died yesterday in Syracuse Memorial Hospital. He was a retired salesman for the Ford Motor Co. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Doris Brown Abbott; three daughters, Mrs. Lida A. Auerdick, Mrs. Otto Spillett and Mrs. Manuel Vacquez; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday in the Carl P. Ballweg Funeral Chapel, 4610 S. Salina St., the Rev. Amos Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 P.M. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. tomorrow.
