JUDGE'S WIDOW SUCCUMBS HERE
Kate W. Warren, 70, a resident of eastern Washington 60 years and widow of Judge William T. Warren, died here yesterday at the home of her son, Virgil A. Warren, W136 Twenty-fourth.
Mrs. Warren was born in 1869 in Kansas and came to the northwest in a covered wagon. She spent her girlhood in the Crescent country north of Reardan. Her father was Jeremiah A. Rockhold.
After her marriage to William T. Warren in 1890 she moved to Spokane, later moving to Wilbur with her husband.
In 1904 Mr. Warren was elected judge of Lincoln and Adams counties and the couple moved to Davenport. Judge Warren died in 1912 and Mrs. Warren continued to live there until 1927. For the last 12 years she resided here.
The children are Mrs. John McGregor, Hooper; Earl F. Warren, San Francisco; Mrs. G. W. Stewart, Norwalk, Conn.; Virgil Warren; Mrs. Phillip Sherburne, New York, and W. Grant Warren, New York. There are four grandchildren, a sister and a brother.
The body is as Hazen & Jaeger's where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 pm.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church and the PEO.
