HAROLD EDWARDS
ARCOLA — Harold Virgil Edwards, 78, of Arcola died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday (Aug. 2, 1983) in Jarman Hospital, Tuscola.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola, with burial in Arcola Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
Mr. Edwards was born Jan. 27, 1905, in Clay County, a son of Joseph and Anna Reece Edwards. He was married to Nora Chapman on Feb. 11, 1925. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Kenneth of Filson; two daughters, Mrs. Wanda Titus of Arcola and Mrs. June North of Redmon; a brother, Dewey of Edgewood; a sister, Mrs. Violet Murray of Edgewood; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
