Services for Jackson Lee Kelly were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2002 in the First Baptist Church of Calvin, LA with Rev. Lamar Carpenter officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories, Winnfield, LA under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, LA.

Mr. Kelly, age 74 of Calvin, LA died Sunday, April 28, 2002 in the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, LA.

He was a native of Winnfield, LA, 1945 graduate of Winnfield Senior High School, member of First Baptist Church, Calvin, a veteran of the US Navy serving in World War II, and was a retired DOW chemical employee.

Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Roy Kelly of Calvin, LA; one daughter and son-in-law, Ella Kaye and Gerald Dickey of Port Lavaca, TX; one grandson, Keith M. Dickey of Port Lavaca, TX; one brother, Aaron Glen Keiffer of Calvin, LA; two step-sons, Michael Ted Rowell of Duncanville, TX and Tommy Gene Rowell
of Clearwater, TX; two stepdaughters, Mary Sue S. Haddox of Cedar Hill, TX and Elizabeth Pauline O'Bryan of Shreveport, LA; eight step-grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Pete Anderson, Louis Franks, Spencer Keiffer, Jerry Anderson, Michael Rowell, Eddie Taylor and Donnie O'Bryan.
