the daughter of George Mack Meeks and Mary Elizabeth nee Bean.
The 1900 census for the Grundy County, TN household of "Mack" and Lizzie Meeks had three children:
Pearl,
Beulah and William.

Two of her siblings apparently died as young children and Beulah's mother died in 1906.
The 1910 census lists Mack as a widower with two children, Beulah and Marvin.
Her father Mack married again, to Maggie Smartt (140984179) in 1914 and they had more children.
Beulah married Joe Segroves (Seagroves) on March 7, 1915 in Grundy County, TN.

(His first wife, Margaret Elizabeth"Lizzie" Meeks, died in 1912.)

The 1930 census, in addition to step-children Nancy and Roy, lists Beulah's children as
Bessie,
Howard,
Lottie,
Novella,
James
and Nora.
