Crowley—Funeral services for Annette Faulk Keene, 82, will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in Bible Missionary Church, Crowley. Reverend Bill Whited and Reverend Randy Paul will officiate. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and on Monday, September 23, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home, Crowley. Visitation will conclude on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until service time in Bible Missionary Church.

Mrs. Keene passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 5:05 P.M. in a Lake Charles care facility.

A native of Ebenezer, Mrs. Keene had lived in Lake Charles for much of her life. She was an active and faithful member of Bible Missionary Church. Her faith led to serve in the capacity of District Missionary Secretary, as well as author and editor of Junior Adventurer publication. She and her late husband, Roy, also brought the gospel to many people while serving as missionaries to several countries around the world.

Mrs. Keene enjoyed writing and telling stories, and cooking for friends and family. Her greatest joy in life was caring for and being with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Webb and husband, Jack of Lafayette, and Dianne Moore of Ragley; sons, Larry Keene and wife, Morn of Lake Charles, and Timothy Keene and wife, Rhonda of Sulphur; brother, Reverend A. Ray Faulk and wife, Peggy of Westlake; grandchildren, Angie Wright of Lafayette, Joann Keene of Lake Charles, Jason Keene and wife, April of Lake Charles, Latasha Tucker and husband, Charles of Lake Charles, Jessica Amidon and husband, Danny of Junction City, KS, and Caitlin Keene of Sulphur; great-grandchildren, Sheila, Jason, Jada, and Grady; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Preceding Mrs. Keene in death were her husband of over 60 years, Roy William Keene; parents, Leonard Conrad Faulk and Mabel Grace Atkinson Faulk; brothers, Boyd Faulk, Hoyt Faulk, and Wade Faulk; and grandchild, Scott Keene.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Bible Missionary Institute Scholarship Fund, 3501 46th Avenue, Rock Island, IL 61201.
