The Tampa Tribune - Feb. 11, 1947: Mrs. Mary Aganora Shaw, 72, a resident of Tampa for 30 years passed away Monday morning, February 10th, at her home on 1820 Bird Street. The funeral service will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Sulphur Springs Church of God on 13th Street and Bird Avenue. The Rev. M.W. Thomas, Pastor, to officiate, assisted by Rev R.E. Drymon and Evangelist Lula L. Jones. Interment will be at the Orange Hill Cemetery. - Active pallbearers will be J. H. Stephens, A.W. Johns, Neal Thompson, W.R. Sanders, P.L. Barnes, and M.V. Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be J.N. Martin, M.H. Burgess, J.B. Ellerbee. H.S. Hancock, J.S. Stephens. and W.M. Davis. Wilson Samon Company Funeral Home.
She was survived by her husband, William R. Shaw, Tampa, two sons, Kimball S. Shaw, Cleveland, and George T. Shaw, Clearwater, five daughters: Mr. J.J. {Johnnie} Medlin, Mrs. Felix {Elizabeth} Pelaez, Mrs. Lillian Bliss, Mrs Walter E. {Cora} Shaw, and Mrs. G.C. {Nellie} Stinger, all of Tampa; twenty-two grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren
