Maxine Ann Boysen was born June 8, 1926 in rural Elkton, South Dakota to John and Althea Fogerty. Maxine died Friday, September 20, 2013 at Countryside Home, Madison, Nebraska.

After graduating High School she attended business school in Sioux Falls, SD. She worked as a medical secretary prior to her marriage to Gerald Eulberg on April 7, 1948. They had 4 children. They lived in several Nebraska and Iowa communities before settling in Madison in 1956. Gerry passed away from cancer in 1960. Maxine married Erwin "Pete" Boysen on March 20, 1973. Pete preceded her in death April 5, 2011.

Maxine survivors are: children, Patricia Sloan of Kirkland Washington, Deborah Podliska (Terry) of Papillion, Nebraska, Michael Eulberg Maryland, (Jeanne) of Woodinville, Washingto and Pamela Busteed (Terry) of Madison, Nebraska; step-children, Dennis Boysen Maryland, (Cindy) of Saginaw, Michigan and Deborah Klabunde of Fremont, Nebraska; fifteen Grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister Jane (Delbert) Hunt of Underwood, Iowa and a host of family and friends.

Maxine was preceded in death by: parents, husbands, two sisters and two grandchildren.

Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Madison, Nebraska.
