Georgia Ellen Abdo, 81, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013. Georgia was born in Briartown, Oklahoma, to the late James and Arvella (Nichols) Smith. Georgia is survived by her husband Joe Joseph and her former husband Ronald Abdo Sr. Also surviving Georgia are her daughters: Rhonda (Cloyd) McDonald, of North Redington, FL.; Rose (John) Frey, of Toledo, OH; Diane (Rob) Seely, of Plain City, OH; Jeanette (Louie Jr.) Espinosa, of Luckey, OH; Joey (Mitch) Furniss and Margaret Pennington; sons: Frank (Cathy) Abdo and Donald (Nancy) Freeman both of Perrysburg, OH; 23 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and sister Emma Jean (Jerry) Billington and brother David (Joann) Smith. Along with her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Abdo Jr. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the entire staff at Gentiva Hospice, and to her nurses and aides for their excellent care, kindness, and support to Georgia and her family.
