Frank H. Bury, Ex-Cement Aide, Succumbs at 72

Natural Causes

Frank Henry Bury of 32 N. 14th St., Allentown, died yesterday in his home. He was 72. Bury retired in 1951 as assistant credit manager of .Portland Cement Co. He was employed by the company for 29 years.

Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late Hubert and Martha Papenkuhl Bury. He resided in Allentown since 1898. Bury was a member of St. James United Church of Christ, in which he had been a deacon.

Surviving are his wife, Katie Knerr Bury; four daughters, Myra, wife of Dr. William Behringer, Allentown; Betty, wife of Dr. Mattison W. Alderman, Edina, Minn.; Adell, wife of Col. William A. Stiles, McLean, Va., and Isabel, wife of John H. Beacher, Oradell, N. J.; a son Hubert H., Allentown; a brother, Martin H. Bury, Philadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Benfield, Allentown. and Mrs. Viola Barrigan, Philadelphia, and 15 grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 1601 Hamilton St., Allentown, with viewing 7-9 Friday.
