Custer Leroy Ford, 85, of Saxton, PA, passed away September 18, 2013 at Homewood at Martinsburg He was born in Wood, PA on February 17, 1928, a son of the late Olive Mae (Swope) and Custer Ford. He was united in marriage to Helen Louise (Neville) Ford on April 17, 1946 in Winchester, Va. She preceded him in death on May 1, 2005. He worked as a Coal Miner at Mark Mining until his retirement. He is survived by two daughters, Susan, wife of George Clark, of Saxton, PA; Darla, wife of Harry Guyer, of Loysburg, PA; and two sons Rev. Leroy A. "Bill", husband of Kathy (Weaverling) Ford, of Independence, OH; and John L., husband of Dolly (Weitzel) Ford, of Saxton, PA; He is also survived by a sister, Ruth Moffat and five brothers, Pete, Glen, Jack, Gary, and Paul Ford. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Olive Mae, and sisters, LaRue, and Dorthea, brother, Danny, and an infant brother.
