Mr. Parker was a retired L & A, KCS, railroad man. He was a member of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church.

He was survived by his wife, Dora Frances Vickers Parker; two sons, B. F. Parker of Louisville, KY and S. W. Parker of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Williams of Greenville, TX and Mrs. Clarence Bates of Winnfield; one brother, Vince Parker of Stamps, AR; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
