Jessie James "Snow" Anderson was born on March 8, 19940 to the late John Frank Anderson and Elizabeth Lavender Anderson. He departed this life on June 6, 2011 surrounded by his devoted family. He was joined in Holy Matrimony on June 2, 1962 to Mary Elizabeth Cunningham. From this union, three children were born.

He attended Franklin Training School, Class of 1958. He had worked as a wholesale food truck driver for many years and retired from Palmers Wholesale. He professed his hope in Christ at an early age at Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder Willie B. Fisher. He had served faithfully as an usher, choir member, church clerk, Sunday school teacher and was the assistant chairman of the deacon board until his health failed.

He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, laughing and joking.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Willie Ray, Howard and Odie Lee Anderson. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mary Anderson; children, Jesse Jr. (Fredia), Loretha, and John Anderson; grandchildren, Pierre, Zachary, Jonetha, Leah, Damon, Omarion and others; one great-grandhcild, Brooklyn; brothers, Elder Edward (Shelia), Wesley (Ruby) and Richard Anderson; one sister, Annie Marie (Houston) Norris and others; one uncle, William Fisher; a host of nieces and nephews; cousins; numerous god children; and devoted friends.
