She became the wife of Dr James Houghteling on 26 February 1807 in Bainbridge, Chenango, New York. They had eleven children, all born in New York: * Mary Matilda 1808/1809-1924/1954 * Catharine Arietta b 1810/1811 * Susan Amelia, Mrs William Lawton 1812-1886 * Laura Louisa, Mrs Hiram Reynolds 1813/1814-1892 * James Lawrence 1815-1852 * Carolina deZeng, Mrs Charles Sayre deZeng b 1817 * William deZeng 1819-1898 * Augusta Anna, Mrs John Rhodes 1821-1892 * Jane Rose, Mrs Cyrus Perkins 1823-1892 * Abrahm 1825-1872 * Sarah Matilda, Mrs Edmond Hendrick b 1828 After her husband's death, she was living in Galen with farming real estate valued at $4,800, living with several children. she died of old age and was buried next to her husband.
