Charles M. Poole, 51, of Turnpike Extension, Clearfield, R.D., and a veteran of World War I, died at his home at 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, as a result of coronary occlusion, Dr. E. S. Erhard, county coroner reported.
Mr. Poole had been mowing the lawn when he got a severe pain in his chest. He died withing a half hour without medical attention.
Funeral services will be held from his late residence Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Crown Crest Memorial Park.

Charles M. Poole, born in Lawrence Township on February 20, 1894, a son of the late Isaac and Sara Poole, died at his home in Paradise on Aug. 14.
A veteran of World War I, Mr. Poole lived most of his life in Paradise.
He is survived by his widow Rose Condon Poole, a son Robert in Germany, and three daughters, Kathleen Alice, Norma Jean an Dorothy Ann, all at home. One sister, Mrs. Charlotte Brenn of Detroit, Mich., and two brothers, Isaac Jr. and Hugh at Clearfield also surviving.
Funeral services were held from his late home on Turnpike Extension, by Rev. E. Roy Hauser, D.D. The American Legion was in charge. Burial was made in the Crown Crest Cemetery.
