"Funeral rites will be conducted at his home at 2 o'clock today (Thursday) for Bert Webb, 72, who died at his home on the Central Bridge road Monday night. Services will be conducted by Rev. G.R. Kyle of the Community Parish. Burial will be in the Old Stone Fort cemetery.
Mr. Webb was born in Middleville, near Grand Rapids, Mich., on June 4, 1866. Forty-three years ago he married Miss Margaret A Bergh of Schoharie. They lived five years in Chicago before moving to Schoharie. Mr. Webb was a barber by trade throughout his life.
He is survived by his widow, two brothers, William Webb of Los Angeles and C. Norman Webb of Chicago, one sister, Mrs. Stella Vandenburg of Chicago; one daughter, Mrs. Everett Collyer, and one granddaughter, Miss Betsy Ann Collyer of Schoharie.
Former business associates who will be bearers are Dr. S.A. Scranton, Frank Barton, Frank J. Warner, Charles H. Deitz, Albert Bouck and Roy Zimmer."
