Martha Sue Brock Edwards, age 59, of Darst Street in Stanford, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. Born Monday, May 31, 1954 in Stanford, she was the daughter of the late Ira "Bud" & Lola Hazlett Brock. She was the widow of the late Tony Edwards. Martha was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid user of Facebook.
Martha leaves behind two sons, James Thomas Durham (Starlett) and Christopher Shaun Brock (Kim) both of Stanford; two daughters, Connie Sue Gooch (Scottie) and Kathy Gaines both of Stanford; one brother, Ora Junior Brock (Jackie) of Villa Rica, Georgia; two sisters, Cecilia Jane Brock of Stanford and Clara Marie Holtzclaw (Allen) of Hustonville; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Brian Berry; and two brothers, Max Samuel Brock and Lige Brock.
