Mrs. Lola Ruth Mathis Farr, age 86 of Kingston, passed away Saturday November 5, 2011 at Harriman Care & Rehabilitations Center. Lola attended Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Harriman for many years and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Kingston
She was preceded in death by husband William Franklin Farr. Son: William Boyd Farr. Parents John and Jessie Whaley Mathis. One brother: John Dale Mathis.
She is survived by two sons Larry Farr of Knoxville and Dale and wife Carolyn Farr of Deer Lodge. Two daughters Marcelle and husband Bob Hamlett of Kingston and Marsha and husband Brad Adkisson of Harriman. One brother Clayton Mathis of Kingston. Eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Monday November 7, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM in the chapel of Davis Funeral Home with Bro.
