Juanita "Joyce" Kelly, 51, of Albany, died on May 16, 2013, at home, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born on Oct. 31, 1961, in Sacramento, Calif., to Freda Mae (McLean) and George Melvin Riggle Sr.
She grew up in Sacramento.
In 2004, she moved to Albany.
She worked as a CNA and personal care provider for many years.
She is survived by daughters Zanae Sears, of Sacramento, Jennifer Knight, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Brandy Orezem, of South Dakota, and Samantha McKenna, of New Mexico; 15 grandchildren; brothers Bill Riggle and Michael Riggle, both of Sweet Home, and Robert Riggle, of Citrus Heights, Calif.; sisters Marilynne Mattos and Nancy Spears, both of Bakersfield, Calif., and Judy Howerton, of Sweet Home; 17 nieces and nephews; 21 great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-nieces.
Her parents George Melvin Riggle Sr. and Freda Mae Riggle; brother George Melvin Riggle Jr.; and nephew Jack Tachera Mattos died before she did.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
