Doris M. (Mundis) Druck, 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2017 at the home of her son in Seven Valleys. She was the wife of the late Palmer E. Druck, Sr
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. All other services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Born in York on December 30, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Henry L. and Ruth E. (Godfrey) Mundis.
She retired from Stewart Connectors and prior to that was employed at the former Guy Hobbs Furniture Company in the 1960's.
Doris loved bluegrass music and enjoyed going to bluegrass festivals with her husband and friends. She was a member of New Hope "Fissels" UCC Church, Glen Rock.
She was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many.
Doris leaves her children, Cindy L. Hess (Dave) of McKenzie, Tenn., David R. Tubb (Debra) of Glen Rock, Palmer E. Druck Jr. (Barb) of Seven Valleys, Donna M. Snyder (Scott) of Winston Salem, N.C., and Dennis A. Druck (fiancé Cynthia Mason) of Glen Rock; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Elsie Heiss, Jeanetta Mundis, Helen Lawyer, Nancy Schuchart; a brother, Ronald Mundis; and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Druck and seven brothers and sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 3001 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
The family would like to thank AseraCare Hospice who helped with Doris' care over the past several months.
