Earlville, la.— Special: Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph’s church at Earlville at 9:30 Wednesday morning for William Haas, 64, who died at Mercy hospital, Dubuque, Monday morning.

He was taken to Mercy hospital Saturday afternoon, and had been in failing health for several years.

He was a son of the late Nicholas and Mary Haas, and was born in the Earlville-Delhi vicinity, April 21, 1882. He was married to Adeline Gravel, who survives, with six children, Victor, Joseph, Billy, Elizabeth, Mary, and Hubert, all of Earlville; three brothers, Frank, of Manchester, James of Hopkinton, and Fred in California; and five sisters, Miss Ella Haas and Mrs. Iva Speersflage both of Delhi, Mrs. Emma Wickman, Ryan, Mrs. Margaret Krueger, Petersburg, and Mrs. Alice Garlick, Independence.

The Rev. M. J. Meyerhofer will officiate at the services, and burial will be made in St. Joseph's Cemetery here.
