William Jennings Bell, 83, died Aug. 23, 2013, at his home in Deming, N.M.
Bill was born on April 23, 1930, north of Hershey. He was the third son of James Alexander Bell and Leta Lucille Kesterson Bell.
Bill joined the Navy in 1948, and was then recalled to serve in The Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Donna Marie Brown, daughter of Forrest Franklin Brown and Violet Viola Peak; and his daughter, Connie (Ziedney Valenzona) Bell; three grandchildren, Shaun Bell, Jamie Shell and Jennifer McCoy; and four great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Briana and Cody Shell and Aurea Luciani.
He was preceded in death by both sons, Kenneth Lee Bell and Jack Lee Bell.
Services will be at 1 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 20, at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell.
