Mary Aleine "Miss Allie" Connell , age 87, of Bronson, FL., and Des Plaines, IL., passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013.

She was born in Dell, Arkansas, on March 22, 1926, the daughter of Nettie and Homer Boren.

Aleine was a gifted seamstress. She made the most beautiful quilts for all to enjoy. She spent many labor of love hours quilting for all of her family. She loved spending time making crafts. She loved volunteering for charities.

Alein is survived by her daughters, Annette Connell of Bronson, FL, Jeannette Van Denorth, Kathy (Eddie) Cullins and her son Greg (Robin) Connell all of Montgomery, IL. Aleine has 7 grand-children, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grand-children. She is also survived by her brother, Herbert (Lois) Boren, sisters Virginia Sneathen, Faye Cokenower, Lavonne (David) Scmidt and her brother-in-law Glen Dobbins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nettie and Homer Boren, her brother Donald James Boren her two sisters, Dois Dobbins and Warrene Graham.

Graveside funeral services were held at Memorial Park in Blytheville, Arkansas
