Helen Gosnell, 107, of Branson, MO.

Mrs. Gosnell was born on a farm outside Osceola, MO on Aug. 7, 1908 the daughter of Carl and Elma Alley. When she was almost 6 years old her family moved to farm near Braymer, MO. She attended her 1st year of school at Victor School. The family moved to a farm near Ludlow, MO. She attended a rural School Bryanville were she graduated from the 8th grade. She attended Ludlow High School graduating in 1926. She also graduated from Chillicothe Business College and worked in Kansas City for a while. She married Hubert Gosnell at Keytesville, MO in 1935. They operated a café for a few years and moved to Branson in 1965. She worked at Canotes Pharmacy and Alexander’s Pharmacy for a few years before retiring. She worked at the Skaggs Hospital as a volunteer for several years, as well as volunteering at the Methodist thrift Shop. Helen was a member of the Branson United Methodist Church and Skaggs Auxiliary.

Helen is survived by many cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; and brother, Harold Alley and sister, Margaret Dye.

Memorial service will be held at Branson United Methodist Church on Tues., Jan, 12 at 10:00 AM. Arrangements under the direction of Whelchel Grace Funeral Home.
