Ardell B. Almany, age 94, of Bristol, VA, passed away August 29, 2008 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 12, 1914 in Harr, TN, a daughter of the late Joseph and Flossie Mae Jordan Rutherford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Dallas Almany, sons: George Almany, Stewart Almany, James Almany; siblings: Mary Sales, Pauline Coleman, Ilene Rutherford, Abe Rutherford and Andrew Rutherford.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Mary Sue Overfelt and husband Bill
Grandchildren: Mary Jo Marshall and husband Bill, Joe Almany and wife Cindy, Sue Simms and husband Barry, Steven Almany and wife Kim and Will Overfelt
Sister: Bessie Newton
Daughter-in-law: Louise Almany
