Dan was a retired Captain for the Fulton County Sheriff Department and a Long time member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #64.

He and his wife Gwen raised a daughter, Dana and a son, Dan.

They hosted several family reunions in their cabin at Lake Allatoona in Georgia. Dan and Gwen also enjoy skiing, both on water and snow.

Gwen developed Alzheimer's and Dan tenderly and lovingly cared for her at home for 20+ years.
