Deceased Name: BERTHELOT, SIDNEY J.
Died 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, 1986, at his residence in Maringouin. He was 80, a native of Iberville Parish. He was a retired Exxon operator after 30 years of service. Visiting at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church hall, Maringouin, 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday. Religious services at the church at 4 p.m. Monday. Entombment in church mausoleum. Survived by wife, Edris Chase Berthelot, Maringouin; a daughter, two brothers, Lawrence J. Berthelot, Baton Rouge, and Clarence Berthelot, Houston, Texas; a granddaughter, Elisa Fellin, Baton Rouge; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Henry J. and Alida Adams Berthelot. He served as president, past president, secretary-treasurer, and past deputy district governor of the Maringouin's Lions' Club. He was a former Maringouin alderman, having served eight years.
