Funeral services for Gladys Beavers Dabelgott, 79, of Rosenberg, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 until service time.
Gladys passed away Jan. 3, 2004 in Baytown. She was born Dec. 12, 1924 in Little Rock, Ark. to Ernest Curtis Beavers and Verona Faye Mahan Beavers. She was a long time resident of Rosenberg and a member of First United Methodist Church. Gladys had a passion for collecting cows and playing Bingo. She loved her children and grandchildren very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Dabelgott; her parents, Ernest and Verona Beavers; and brothers, Arnold and Arley Beavers.
Gladys is survived by her loving sons, Ron Henson and wife Diane, of Spring; Gerald Harper and wife Annette, of Richmond; daughter Miriam Harper Fisher and husband Kenny, of Baytown; step-daughter Sandy Dabelgott Knight and husband Hal, of Richmond; her beautiful grandchildren Russell and Randi Henson; Valerie Harper; Kerry Fisher; Kellye Fisher Humbird and husband Christopher; Karmen Knight Cooley and husband Blake; Kristie and Kassie Knight; special sister-in-law Margaret Beaver Nias; and oldest, dearest friends, Florese Moore; and Littie Woods; and many wonderful friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
