Funeral services for Robert David Brown Jr., 25, a 20-year resident of Brooklyn Park, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, 237 E. Patapsco Ave., Brooklyn.
Mr. Brown died suddenly Dec. 10 at Carroll County Hospital. The cause of death was unavailable.
He was born Feb. 12, 1978, in Baltimore.
Mr. Brown earned his General Equivalency Diploma and attended one year of college.
He served in the Marines.
He worked in the plumbing field and was an avid sports fan. He especially liked the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Yankees.
Survivors include his fiancee, Kristina Higgs of Westminster; his father and stepmother, Robert D. Brown Sr. and Eileen Brown of Baltimore; his mother and stepfather, Peggy Haga and Harold Haga of Baltimore; one grandmother, Gladys Brown of Baltimore; one sister, Melissa Brown of Glen Burnie; two stepbrothers; and one stepsister.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Donald Brown and Lloyd Gauss; and one grandmother, Ruth M. Gauss.
Family and friends may visit from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow at the funeral home.
The Rev. John B. Warther will conduct the services. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Robert`s nicknames were Rob and Deuce and he used to hangout with Yunky (Charles Ronald Rowan, Jr.) and Yunky`s half brother Johnny Ely. His family called him Rob while his friends called him Deuce. Rob did not marry nor did he have any children.
