The picture is of Roy Edgar Dittemore, son of William Theodore from the Michael M. Dittemore & Sarah Cotter line of Adam & Mary Burger. NOT George Washington Dittemore & Emeline Tyler line of Adam through William Perry and their son, who this memorial belongs.
Roy Edgar & Roy Ethfloyd were just a little over a year apart. Roy Ethfloyd being born in Feb 1894 in Severance, Kansas & Roy Edgar being born in Mar 1895, St. Joseph, Missouri. Roy Edgar, that is on the other memorial, shared on ancestry, is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph, Buchanan, Missouri.

Roy Ethfloyd Dittemore was the son of William Perry Dittemore an Mary Alice (Clifford) Dittemore. He was born Feb. 4, 1894, the second son born to Mary Alice and William Perry. However, there were six older children in the household at the time he was born. This included two half sisters (Daisy, 15, oldest of W.P's children, and Viola, age 5, daughter of Alice by her first marriage), three half brothers, and one full brother, Closky, aprox. 1yr. 10mo.
Mary Alice went on to have four more sons - Oscar who was born in 1895, but passed away in 1898; Luther Lloyd, 1899-1967; Clarence Theodore, 1901-1980; and Ernest Dittemore, 1905-1985.
Roy married Alice Myrtle Shaiffer in 1911 and they had four children: Eldon Herrold, Gerald Claiborn, Clara Rose (Dittemore) Hale, and Roy Maynerd, all who passed away between 1998 and 2005.
