Art Dabelgott, 60, of Rosenberg, died Thursday at Polly Ryon Hospital. He was a native of Elgin, Tex., and had been a native of Fort Bend County for about 40 years.
Dabelgott was a member of the Rosenberg Masonic Lodge, a charter member of St. John's United Church of Christ, and was a service station operator in this area for many years.
Survivors include his widow, Thekla of Rosenberg; daughter, Mrs. Joyline Bialas of Rosenberg; son, Wesley of Rosenberg; nine grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Adele Richter and Mrs. Louise Richter of Houston, Mrs. Annie Greinert of Austin, Mrs. Gertrude Meyer of Beasley, and Mrs. Hertha Patterson of California; brother, Herman of Beasley.
Services were scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday from St. John's United Church of Christ, the Rev. Donald Kolkmeier officiating.
