Obituary of James Calvin Caradine: Jonesboro, Arkansas Newspaper, January 15, 1993: Funeral services for James Calvin Caradine, 56, of Jonesboro, AR, who died Tuesday, January 12, 1993 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR, will be this afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Higginbotham Funeral Service in Walnut Ridge, AR. The body will be cremated, and burial will be at a later date. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Tina Caradine of the home; two sons, Dennis Caradine and David Caradine, both of Jonesboro, AR; one sister, Mrs. Jean Watkins of Searcy, AR; four brothers, Larry Caradine of Beebe, AR, and Billy Caradine of Griffithville, AR, Boyd Fowler of Hope, AR, and Ray Fowler of St. Cloud, FL. He was preceded in death by a son James Calvin Caradine, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that lasting memorials be sent to the Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Association, at 1023 West Capitol Ave, Little Rock, AR.James was a son of William Henry "Bill" Caradine and Grace Wells. He married Angelina "Tina" Fielder Feb 1959.
