Death of Charles Ashley

Charles Ashley of Richmond, Ontario county, son of Clinton and Averilla Wright Ashley, died last Friday in Thompson Memorial Hospital, Canandaigua, after a long illness. Me was born in the town of Richmond, July 30. 1866, and married Adelaide Hall of Canandaigua, June 2, 1892. He had lived all of his life in the house where he was born, with the exception of three years just prior to his marriage, when he lived in Canandaigua.

Mr. Ashley was a charter member of the Honeoye Valley grange, assessor for several years, also a member of the Honeoye Congregational church.

He leaves his wife and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 o'clock at his home, the Rev. John Brown officiating. Burial was in Lake View cemetery, Honeoye.
