Paul Anthony Abbott, 51, 107 Vineyard St, died July 19, 1999, at his residence after an extended illness with cancer.
He was born March 8, 1948 in New Castle, and lived in Muncie for 20 years, movig to Anderson two years ago. He was a 1966 graduate of Anderson High School.
He was a disabled U.S. Air Force veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his sister, Marita (husband Frank) Beeman of Anderson; niece, Anie Hensley of Summitville; nephew Ben Beeman of Fishers, niece, Michelle Ashby of Anderson; aunt, Dorothy (husband, Pierce) Huntington of Selma: uncle, Paul Thomas Vickers of Sarasota, Fla; cousins, Gary Huntington of Muncie and Debbie Dickinson of Selma.
Also surviving is special caregiver Chris Carson of Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Abbott; and brother Charles Ray Abbott.
A private memorial service will be conducted at Brown -Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with the Rev Claude reel of Huntsville Community Church officiating. Cremation will follow.
