Easter Lidav Whaley, age 77 of Sevierville, went to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at 1:05 AM after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded with love by her family as she left this earthly home to go to her heavenly home. She was a member of Burnetts Creek Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She was preceded in death by her son David Whaley, daughter Marion Branch, mother Ella Mae McCarter, father James Henry McCarter and eight brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish the memories are her:
Husband of 57 years: Marion Buford Whaley
Son: Steve Whaley and family of Belleview, FL
Daughter: Loretta “Suzie” Rudder and family of Knoxville, TN
10 grandchildren
5 great-grandchildren

Funeral service 10 AM Friday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Huskey’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Thursday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
