Vey Wesley Blank was born 23 Nov 1913 in Rosalie, Thurston Co., NE. He married Sarah Viola Johnson-Senff on 10 Nov 1956 in Portland, Multnomah Co., OR. He served in the Army and was a carpenter for most of his life, until a back injury ended that work. After that, he worked for Fred Meyer bakery as a custodian. He enjoyed playing his accordion as well as gardening. Sarah was his only wife and he and Sarah had no children together. Vey had luekemia later in life and with complications of pneumonia ,died just after their 25th Wedding anniversary on 27 Jul 1982 in Portland. He is buried in Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland.
